I look forward to being a peer coach this year because I thoroughly enjoy working with eager high school students who have decided that they want to start their college career early. I understand that this can be a big change and I look forward to being their aid in this transition in every way possible.

- During my free time, I enjoy playing music (mainly guitar) and writing.
- Before returning to UA to pursue a Master’s degree, I enjoyed writing for Planet Weekly, a Tuscaloosa entertainment/arts publication.
I'm thrilled to be a Peer Coach because of both the technology of the UA Early College program and the ambitious students that the program tends to attract. I love how online classes can provide college coursework even to those who are not physically on campus. I'm therefore very excited to be a part of a program that makes use of such technology. Another benefit of being a Peer Coach is working with the high school students who participate in UA Early College. It's a great experience to work with students who are so driven and ambitious that they seek to earn college credit before graduating high school. As a Peer Coach, I look forward to helping these students adjust to and succeed in UA Early College. |
